In terms of Corn starch that’s kitniot not chametz and kitniot is just a geder not halacha so the whole thing is dumb with a capital d.

@Tuvia: You’re right, it says Boro Park on it’s Facebook page. Which begs 2 questions: 1) WHERE in BP? It’s a big place. What’s the address? and 2)How many people in Boro Park are on Facebook? Such shtus! If they’re on Facebook, wouldn’t that mean they have access to the Internet? That’s a shonda and you know it! LOL

@Yohaas: I thought it was delivery only too, but it doesnt say in what boro or area, unless you meander to their Facebook page. How do you have “pickup” service without telling people where you are located?

Some pans and foil could be coated. That’s why you see a O-U on Reynolds Aluminum Foil.

Shticky Sushi looks like a delivery only service (but you can pickup from the their location as well).

I have never purchased any of those products, but I have heard of some paper plate companies using corn starch in them, so that could be why they need it.

Re: the Pesach products, @RavTex informed me that some must have Passover items, like Corelle plates for example, contain corn starch and do require a different production for Pesach. So you never know what weird things are in some products. Admittedly, most products (like water!) shouldn’t bother having an OUP.

I’ve noticed Americans are fanatic about their privacy. Maybe that’s why the Sushi place is hiding away. You can try calling them and see if they’re be willing to part with that information. Just be careful, if they think you’re from the Census, they won’t tell you anything but a number.
